Q.Can I get a refund for my electronic downloadable book or for the ezine?
A.There are no refunds unfortunately available for either download.
Q.Can I reload the same downloaded copy to another computer, or share it over a network?
A.the EDF (electronic download file) fully functions as a book on your desktop. Due to pirating and the possibility of peer sharing, the executable (including the viewing module) has been encrypted within a digital rights management cab. The cab only will work on the computer it was downloaded to, and opened on.
Q.do I have the ability to print recipes?
A.Yes, the printing function has been enabled.
Q.what does my skill level need to be in order to utilize the knowledge base of the Consortium?
A.A professional foundation in basic baking and confectionery would be beneficial, but not absolutely necessary. For the moment, the Consortium was exclusively geared to the industry professional. Many of the formulas take into consideration a basic understanding of some fundamentals. The ezine elaborates on much science, and more over conceptual ideology. Therefore it is to your benefit to have some understanding of how these elements are put together. In the future there may be an enthusiast version specifically focused on the non professional for self learning.
Q.why was Consortium created?
A.The Consortium started as an idea about five years ago when I was conducting seminars at the Inn at Buckeystown. At that time I developed an interest in teaching and found myself comfortable and articulate in front of a group. Interest grew, but I realized that the peripheral technologies to putting something together such as the Consortium was beyond me at the time. After some studies on web authoring, photography, and an extensive re-investment in myself, I decided to create a platform to share with my colleagues so that they could have some of the same knowledge that I acquired over my years as a chef.
